News: easyJet sees return to growth in seat revenue in third quarter

Luton-based easyJet has revealed total revenue per seat rose 2.2 per cent for the three months ended June 30th, when stripping out exchange-rate fluctuations.

The low-cost carrier had projected a low single-digit per-seat revenue decline in the period after the key performance metric fell 9.7 per cent in the first six months.

At the same time, revenue rebounded 16 per cent to £1.39 billion over the period.
